In questo articolo desideriamo portare alla vostra attenzione le ultime conferme, dal mondo scientifico, a supporto di due argomenti che trattiamo ormai da molti anni.
Il primo argomento è la Kangaroo mother care, da utilizzare a beneficio di bambini prematuri. A maggio 2023, l’Oms ha pubblicato due nuovi documenti per favorirne una più ampia diffusione.
Il secondo argomento è l'utilizzo della maschera laringea che nonostante abbia riscosso un crescente interesse nel campo della rianimazione neonatale sembrerebbe ancora limitatamente utilizzata.



In this article we would like to bring to your attention the latest confirmations, from the scientific world, in support of two topics that we have been dealing with for many years now.
The first topic is Kangaroo mother care, which can also be used for the benefit of premature babies. In May 2023, WHO published two new documents to encourage wider dissemination.
The second argument is the use of the laryngeal mask which, despite its growing interest in the field of neonatal resuscitation, still seems to be used to a limited extent.
